Chapter 6 - Order; Encryption/Decryption process

We provide a special utility program JSCD2 to decrypt your orders.

The ViaJCart™ Decrypt Utility Licensed version has a different JSCD2 Decrypt utility than the trial version. Make sure you are using Licensed Decrypt with Licensed ViaJCart program.

See Chapter 1 on installation instructions of this utility program.

It is an easy program to use. You will have to save your encrypted email orders to an ASCII text file with any file name you like. Most email programs have "Save As" option that you will use in this situation. When you load JSCD2 open your encrypted file with File->Open menu. After you see your order on the screen use Tools->Decrypt menu option to decrypt the order.

You can print or save your order with another file name. That is all to it.

Another functionality of JSCD is to encrypt certain parameters in the JSC.ini file. These are the password for orders PSW, the FTP user name FTPuser, and FTP password FTPpassword. Just go to Tools menu and select New Password option for orders password, FTP User for FTP user login name, and FTP Password option for FTP password. The JSCD will ask you for the location of JSC.ini file and make necessary changes in that file.

Tip 1: When you decrypt orders and you want the JSCD2 to point to a specific directory when you open an order file do the following. Create a shortcut on your desktop by dragging out the jscd2.exe file to your desktop from Windows Explorer. Click with the right button on the created shortcut and select "Properties". In "Start in:" input field enter the path to your orders directory.

Tip 2: Give meaningful names to order files like the date it were placed, for example "ord05269901.txt". This way you can always find the particular order. Then just open this file with the Decrypt program and enter your password (that you encrypted earlier in JSC.ini file). Save decrypted file as "ord05269901d.txt" the "d" is for decrypt. Therefore, if you need to look at the order you don not have to decrypt it again.

4. Select "Decrypt Order".
